My Journey
My journey began with two questions: What do I actually need, and what's effective?
I saw confusing labels and bold claims—many driven by marketing jargon. That’s why I created Primal—to deliver simple, clean, and effective ingredients based on science.
I promise to tell you what’s in it and why it works—that's it.

Elixir of Youth
Harmful molecules called free radicals are produced during metabolic processes like energy production, as well as exposure to external factors such as air pollutants, cigarette smoke, and UV radiation.
The accumulation of free radicals contribute to inflammation, accelerated aging, and chronic diseases like cancer, heart disease, and neurodegenerative disorders.
Antioxidants play a crucial role in neutralizing free radicals. They're naturally occurring compounds found in foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds, as well as supplements. Blending antioxidant-rich ingredients such as the list below into a smoothie, can help ensure your body has an ample supply of these protective compounds.
Berries (blueberries, strawberries)
Cacao Powder (non-alkalized)
Nuts (almond, walnut)
Vegetables (spinach, kale, broccoli, celery)
Herbs and Spices (garlic, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon)
Extra virgin olive oil (organic, cold-pressed, single source, recent harvest date, UV protectant bottle)
Seeds (hemp, flax)
Greek yogurt (probiotics)
Collagen peptides (skin health)
Creatine (muscle growth and energy production)

#1 Indicator of Alzheimer's Disease
A healthy brain is fundamental to happiness.
Did you know that low blood flow in the brain is the #1 indicator of Alzheimer's disease? This condition, which can bring about memory loss, confusion, and difficulty in thinking, has its subtle changes in the brain up to 30 years before noticeable symptoms arise.
Having a healthy flow of blood in our brains is not just about providing oxygen and nutrients to our brain cells. It's also about whisking away toxins, that can get in the way of neuroplasticity — the ability of our brains to adapt and grow throughout our lives.
You might have heard of Fish Oil. Backed by numerous studies, it's known for pepping up blood circulation, especially in our brains. This acts as a shield against conditions that wear down our neural connections.
However, our brains can face some challenges. Frequent guests like alcohol, nicotine, and even caffeine, can constrict our blood vessels, making it harder for blood to flow. There are also silent health challenges like hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol that can slowly affect our brain's blood vessels.
Add to that a diet heavy in processed foods often contain high levels of unhealthy fats, added sugars, artificial additives, and preservatives, all of which are known to contribute to chronic inflammation. This persistent inflammation, like a slow burn, is linked to the production of cytokines, chemicals that can impair learning and memory. Thankfully, there are solutions! Turmeric come to the rescue with their potent anti-inflammatory properties. And then, there's Ashwagandha, a herb clinically proven for its effectiveness in lowering cortisol levels, addressing our body's stress response.

Emotions Last 90 Seconds
Understanding Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
Emotional Intelligence (EI or EQ) refers to the capacity to recognize, comprehend, and manage our own emotions while also understanding and influencing the emotions of others. High EQ brings about multiple benefits including stronger relationships, enhanced job performance, better physical health, improved mental well-being, and a higher quality of life. Unlike inherent traits, EQ can evolve and grow through purposeful practice, reflection, and self-awareness.
The Nature of Emotions
Research indicates that the physiological lifespan of an emotion – the period it takes for the body to process the related chemical response – is approximately 90 seconds. In essence, our body generally moves on from the emotional reaction within a minute and a half. It's our cognitive processes, our thoughts, that often amplify or extend these emotions.
Thoughts vary in nature; they can be fleeting or can linger, especially if they're attached to intense feelings, unresolved matters, or habitual patterns. Our brain can shift quickly between thoughts, but emotionally charged thoughts might remain in our consciousness longer, potentially recurring over time.
While there are consistent findings in studies, everyone's emotional and cognitive experience is distinct. Factors such as personal history, cultural background, and mental and physical health can shape these experiences. Emotional intelligence crucially impacts how we perceive, process, and react to our feelings and thoughts.
Prioritizing Mental Health and EQ
Mental well-being is as crucial as physical hygiene. Imagine disinfecting your thoughts just as you would your hands. Understand that thoughts and dreams are a product of neural activities. Assess whether these thoughts are true, helpful, or align with your goals. When emotions surface, rather than reacting impulsively, acknowledge them and take the time to explore them. What are they trying to tell you? Do they remind you of anything from your past? Remember, not every fleeting thought warrants your belief or action. By actively filtering your thoughts, your overall happiness and peace can markedly improve.
